Position Summary:
Join the Contact Center Analytics & Solutions team at Royal Caribbean Group as a Data Analyst! Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze complex data using SQL and other analytics tools to derive actionable insights that influence business strategies.
- Create compelling data visualizations, presentations, and infographics to illustrate key metrics and trends across contact centers.
- Examine user behavior to detect patterns and opportunities, promoting an understanding of how our content is utilized.
- Develop and refine analytical metrics and methods for both tactical and strategic decision-making in contact centers.
- Manage projects from conception to execution, identifying business needs and crafting effective strategies and tools to enhance team efficiency.
- Drive initiatives to understand subscriber growth and pinpoint future opportunities through detailed analysis and reporting.
Qualifications, Knowledge, & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research or a related field; or a Master’s degree in Business Analytics.
- At least 2 years of experience with programming languages such as R, Python, or SAS.
- Proven experience with predictive and forecasting techniques using tools for time-series analysis and machine learning model development.
- Significant experience in analytics, business intelligence, or a similar field, with expertise in writing complex SQL queries for data analysis.
- Proficient in using data visualization tools like Tableau or Powerbi and capable of communicating insights to a diverse audience.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a global environment.
- A keen understanding of data warehousing, relational databases, and entity relationship diagrams.
Nice-to-Haves:
- CSPO Certification and a solid grasp of Agile Scrum practices.
- Additional programming skills, particularly in Python.
- Experience with systems like Oracle, Hyperion, AS400, or other equivalent mainframe systems.
- Familiarity with the contact center environment.
