Data Analyst - EY GDS Spain - Hybrid

The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Data Analyst/Engineer to join our team at EY GDS Spain, in Malaga, focused on Environmental, Governance & Sustainability (EGS) projects. Utilize your expertise in Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Platform to design and deploy end-to-end data solutions that provide valuable insights for our EGS agenda.

Working in this role, you'll support clients through digital transformations and help select the best business solutions. This position offers you the chance to work on fascinating projects using the newest technologies and methodologies, significantly enhancing your knowledge and experience.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Design and execute data pipelines using Microsoft Fabric components such as Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, and Dataflows.
• Ensure data quality and consistency via data transformations and cleansing processes.
• Develop and manage semantic models for data analysis efficiency.
• Utilize Power BI for data visualization, creating insightful reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Collaborate with data scientists and other engineers, integrating data with various analytical models and tools.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for data solutions to guarantee their scalability and usability.
• Keep abreast of the latest trends in Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Platform, and best practices in EGS data management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or Engineer.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Platform (Data Lakes, Data Warehouses, Dataflows, etc.).
• Solid understanding of data modeling, transformation, and quality.
• Experience with SQL and visualization tools, especially Power BI.
• Proven track record of building comprehensive data solutions.

Ideally: Experience with Microsoft Sustainability and MS industry solutions for EGS, and exposure to international work environments.
