Job Description

As a Data Analyst at Old Mutual, you will be key in developing and implementing a mix of ad hoc and regular reports and dashboards. Your primary task is to transform complex data sets into understandable and actionable insights. This role involves meticulous data extraction, in-depth manipulation, and performing both descriptive and exploratory analyses.

Your Responsibilities:

• Conduct sophisticated data extraction from various internal and external resources.
• Perform advanced data manipulations and carry out detailed data quality checks.
• Generate interactive dashboards and comprehensive reports to respond to business queries.
• Engage in continuous data validation and analysis to support stringent business requirements.
• Collaborate closely with data delivery teams, ensuring seamless data integration and quality.
• Independently handle routine tasks while effectively managing more intricate assignments under supervision.
• Propose and test hypotheses, providing measurable and actionable insights.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Required: Matriculation Certificate (Matric).
• Proficiency in SQL and advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Skills in data modeling, building dashboards, and exploratory data analysis (EDA).
