Key Responsibilities:

As a Data Analyst Intern, you will:

• Assist in the development and enhancement of global election prediction models.
• Manage and augment data sets for advanced forecasting accuracy.
• Create and refine dashboards and models to support data analysis needs.
• Collaborate closely with the Macro team, both in Kolkata and London, to maintain high standards of data collection, collation, and maintenance.
• Engage in cross-departmental functions to foster career growth either in research or in a technical/data-centric role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A degree in progress in a quantitative discipline like economics or engineering.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage timelines effectively.
• Foundation in statistical modelling and proficiency in Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and critical thinking capability.
• Superb communication skills with experience working across different time zones.

Desirable Skills:

• Experience with Python for effective data manipulation.
• Interest and knowledge in machine learning models and electoral politics.
