Job Overview

As a Data Analyst at Grundfos, you will play a crucial role in promoting access to clean water and advancing our sustainability objectives. Your primary responsibility will be to enhance data transparency and efficiency across our reporting systems, contributing directly to our water access initiatives and sustainability strategies. This role is pivotal in analyzing both financial and social performance data, fostering the integration of our sustainability and commercial goals.

The scope of your work will encompass various sustainability dimensions such as SBTi/climate actions and circularity initiatives. You will manage comprehensive data processes end-to-end—from extraction to the visualization and presentation stages. This position involves engaging with internal and external data sources, refining our data architecture, and ensuring compliance with auditors and legislative standards like EU CSRD.

Main Responsibilities

Sustainability Data Management: Enhance and maintain tools and architectures for sustainability reporting. Support initiatives that refine data methodologies to meet external auditor standards and legal compliance, particularly in documenting water-access projects within our sales frameworks.

Performance Management: Deliver precise performance metrics related to water access and sustainability, primarily for high-level internal stakeholders such as the SafeWater leadership and various management teams.

Customer Data Oversight: Responsible for the robust collection and validation of customer data throughout the year, ensuring preparedness for the annual Sustainability Report.

Analytical Support: Conduct detailed analyses concerning sales, revenue, pricing, and inventory, all within the scope of water access and sustainability.

Candidate Profile

Prospective candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Business, or a related field, with 2-3 years of experience in a global organization. Expertise in Excel, SAP S4/HANA, SAP CRM, and Power BI is crucial. A strong grasp of the English language and familiarity with global water issues and sustainability agendas will be advantageous. We value critical thinking, the capacity to manage significant data sets, and the drive to independently lead projects while collaborating across teams.
