About the Role
We are in search of a Data Analyst to work directly with our customers on our Merchant Health Team. You will be part of an expanding operations team which is responsible for Riskified's customers' performance, rapid problem-solving, and real-time online fraud prevention. You will play a major role in investigation and research of new online fraud trends, in a very dynamic environment, and thus, stand at the forefront of Riskified’s work. You will be utilizing your analytical and data analysis abilities and knowledge of our product to offer significant insights to our enterprise merchants, including direct interaction with customers.
What You'll Be Doing
- Research and explore data, using high-level analytical tools (R and SQL) in a high-level technical environment
- Convey deep analysis conclusions and complex technical methods in a clear manner to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Collaborate with account managers, directly meet with clients, and deliver analytical insights for business questions
- Develop and execute end-to-end technical solutions for fraud prevention problems
- Work with various teams within Riskified to enhance processes and meet customers’ needs
- Master the online fraud prevention domain through hands-on analysis of live data
Qualifications
Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. without any visa sponsorship (including OPTs)
- 2+ years of related strong analytical experience with complex data
- 1-2+ years of hands-on work experience with SQL
- 1-2+ years of hands-on work experience with R / Python
- Rich experience in problem-solving and critical thinking
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work on different tasks simultaneously and manage multiple projects
The base salary for this position ranges from $105,000 to $115,000. This range applies to candidates who will perform the job either wholly or partially within New York City. Actual salary will depend on qualifications, competencies, and location. If you feel this range is not appealing, we encourage you to bring this up during the application process.
The base salary is just one part of the compensation package at Riskified. All regular full-time employees receive a target bonus and are eligible to receive stock-based awards.
