About This Position:
The Data Analyst at Waystar is responsible for managing our master data set, developing insightful reports, and troubleshooting data issues. If you are driven by data integrity and love solving complex data challenges, this might be the perfect role for you.
What You'll Do:
- Gather, examine, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources to identify and diagnose data patterns.
- Verify, monitor, and optimize data exchanges between Waystar and our clients.
- Manage data integrity to ensure data delivery meets client expectations.
- Utilize and create SQL coding for querying and manipulating complex data to automate routine tasks and data reporting.
- Streamline data reporting to support current growth and improve processes.
- Work with clients to understand the data they provide and translate it into a common data model that supports improved business outcomes.
- Develop and refine control reporting for file receipts and transmissions.
- Compare third-party reporting metrics as they relate to business activities.
- Support the Account Management team in efforts to improve process consistency.
- Perform various quantitative analyses related to Waystar's business goals.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or other related field.
- 1+ years of experience in data analysis within a business setting.
- Experience using SQL Server for complex projects and tasks is a plus.
- Proven experience in data management, analysis, and problem-solving.
- Familiarity with the challenges of data extraction and manipulation of large data sets.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
- Healthcare experience is a plus.
