Position Summary

Latitude is seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst with a strong background in data analysis, statistics, and data visualization, specifically within federal government contexts. Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, organize, and analyze large datasets from various sources.

  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.

  • Work closely with management to prioritize business and information needs.
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across various platforms and sources.
  • Collaborate with other departments to deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Conduct detailed data quality checks and audits.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst.
  • Federal government experience is required.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools and software (e.g., SQL, R, Python, Excel, Tableau).
  • Strong knowledge of reporting packages, databases, and programming (e.g., Business Objects, SQL, XML, Javascript, or ETL frameworks).
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining, and segmentation techniques.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in a related field.
  • Experience with big data analytics and cloud computing platforms.
  • Familiarity with federal data policies and regulations.
  • Certification in data analytics or a related field.
