Role Overview:

Teck Resources Limited, a leader in sustainable mining and mineral development, is looking for a skilled Data Analyst based in the stunning Elk Valley of British Columbia. Reporting directly to the Senior Maintenance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our business operations by optimizing our technological solutions. Your primary goal will be to facilitate the alignment of business goals with technological capabilities, ensure smooth project delivery, and foster strong partnerships across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Champion safety protocols and environmental standards within the organization.
• Manage Digital Access Tooling for Teck Maintenance, including enhancement prioritization.
• Conduct extensive research through various methodologies to support data-driven decision-making.
• Collaborate closely with user groups to carry out User Acceptance Tests, and develop impactful dashboards and data visualizations.
• Proactively identify operational issues and recommend actionable solutions.
• Create business cases and develop Proof-of-Concept models to drive business improvements.

Desirable Qualifications:

• A degree in Business Administration, Engineering, IT, Commerce, Finance, or a related field. Relevant experience with a technical diploma is considered.
• At least two years of proven experience in solution delivery and business analysis.
• Proficiency in modern analytical tools like Tableau, Spotfire, or Power BI, and familiarity with database management.

Compensation & Benefits:

Teck offers a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $99,000, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package including:
