Data quality is crucial for this. Our risk models depend on precise data to generate dependable metrics. Besides automated controls, we have a dedicated Data Quality team tasked with maintaining data quality throughout the entire process - from the initial input from our data providers to the final results delivered to our clients.
We confront a diverse range of issues concerning data completeness, accuracy, consistency, and punctuality. To address these challenges, we're seeking a new team member who is interested in dealing with fascinating problems in a fast-paced setting. This is a full-time position located in Lausanne.
As a Data Analyst, you'll:
Monitor the quality of market data of investment products and computed risk metrics on a daily basis.
Analyze and compare data from different sources to detect and correct inconsistencies.
Work collaboratively with various teams, clients, and data providers to investigate and resolve data quality issues promptly.
Contribute to improving data quality controls based on real cases and best practices.
For the Data Analyst position, you'll need:
A university degree in Finance or a related field.
Sound knowledge of financial markets and various types of investment vehicles, including derivatives and structured products.
A basic understanding of investment risk measures and a strong interest in broadening this knowledge.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Skills in data handling and analysis.
Detailed-oriented and able to focus on the big picture, as well as thinking outside the box.
Ability to utilize available resources to solve problems and a can-do attitude.
Advanced English (min. B2) and at least intermediate French (B1).
Additionally, it'd be an advantage if you:
Have a basic understanding of Bloomberg & Eikon terminals.
Are familiar with SQL, APIs.
Have prior experience with Jira and Confluence.
