Job Role: Senior Data Analyst – Revenue Management

Position Purpose:

This crucial role focuses on utilizing data analytics for strategic decision-making at Stericycle. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will identify entitled revenue opportunities, oversee data modeling, and estimate revenue impacts while taking proactive measures to support revenue recovery. You will also guide and mentor the data analytics team, ensuring that performance goals are met and offering management innovative ideas for improved analytics, streamlined processes, and enhanced employee morale.

Key Activities Include:

• Designing, preparing, and reviewing data to identify revenue opportunities using business intelligence tools, and leading the support for revenue recovery.
• Conducting data mining and analysis for ad hoc projects, presenting data to support strategic decision-making.
• Executing routine and ad hoc reporting to aid leadership and operations, ensuring accuracy and reliability in data reports and analyses.
• Communicating analytical findings and strategies to the management team effectively.
• Incorporating ongoing feedback to enhance data-driven reports and dashboards.

Required Qualifications:

Educational and Professional Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, or Operations Research.
• At least two years of experience as a Business or Sales Analyst, with proficiency in reporting applications like SAP Business Objects, Cognos BI, SQL Reporting Services, and business intelligence tools such as SQL, Alteryx, SSIS, etc.
• Strong skills in SQL, SAP Hana Enterprise, relational databases, and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work independently on multiple projects with a focus on results and continual technical skill enhancement.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States or Canada without sponsorship.
