About the Role

Our Data Exchange team is looking for a talented Data Engineer to create advanced Data Extracts for Plan Sponsors. This role is pivotal in driving our culture and accelerating innovation to make health care more personal, convenient, and affordable.

Position Summary

As a Data Engineer, you will:

• Develop advanced Data Extracts using various tools and programming languages.
• Collaborate within and across teams to enhance data transformation and processing solutions.

Required Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience with Python
• 1+ years of experience with SQL
• 2 years of overall software development experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load)
• Hands-on experience with GCP (BigQuery, Cloud SQL, Python, Cloud Composer/Airflow, Cloud Storage, Dataflow/Data Fusion, DataProc)
• Experience with Teradata utilities (BTEQ, TPT, FastLoad & SQL Queries)
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Knowledge in BI Tools (Looker Studio, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)
• Understanding of software development methodologies including waterfall and agile
• Experience in the Healthcare/PBM domain
• Excellent communication and presentation skills

Education

Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is $75,705.00 - $154,500.00. Actual base salary offer will be based on various factors including experience, education, and geography. This position is also eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission, or short-term incentive program.
