We aim to identify comprehensive methods for effectively managing data via modern data supply chains, thus making it accessible through analytics, modelling, AI, machine learning, dashboarding, and reporting. About the Job: As a part of our Data Team, you will work across Capco's diverse domains and solution offerings to dissect larger problems and devise solutions. As a Data Engineer, you will create analytics reports and provide data-driven strategic insights, trends, and points of view to aid in our clients' transformation. What You'll Get to Do: - Work on challenging issues with intelligent individuals. - Be highly driven, results-focused and take pride in problem-solving. - Work with new technology, focusing on using the most appropriate tool for the job rather than showing a stubborn preference for a specific tool or technology. - Learn and share knowledge across our engineering teams to foster iterative improvement. - Write reusable, testable, and efficient code as required. - Design and implement low-latency, high-availability, and performance-optimised database systems. - Work on the creation of data pipelines/data warehouses/data models/large data sets. - Collaborate on data sets and data models. - Use Azure Cloud. - Prioritise software security. - Concentrate on performance tuning, enhancement, balancing, usability and automation. What You'll Bring with You: - Experience in breaking down large data sets into smaller ones using matrix as well as hierarchical data models. - Experience in analysing data from multiple sources, including PDFs, flat files, external sources, and databases. - Experience in data bricks and AI data models. - Proficiency with Python and Python AI libraries, backend scripting, Azure cloud, databases (SQL Server), Power BI. - Experience with ETRM applications is desirable. - Bachelor’s degree.
