Role Summary: Data Engineer - Advanced Analytics

We are currently seeking a Data Engineer to join our pioneering Global Quality team at our corporate office in Lewisville, TX. This vital role focuses on enhancing product reliability through continuous improvements, advanced analytics, and cloud-based solutions. As a vital team member, you will contribute to both our immediate objectives and long-term goals, upholding our high standards within the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and maintain efficient data pipelines from diverse sources utilizing AWS, Informatica, Attunity, and Snowflake technologies, focusing on automation and scalability.
• Enhance our data architecture to support future products and initiatives, collaborate closely with our Data Analysts and Scientists to ensure optimal and consistent data flow.
• Develop metrics to measure and improve data quality aligning with business needs, and ensure timely and to-spec delivery of features.
• Design and implement analytic features and reports in collaboration with stakeholders utilizing Agile methodologies and tools like Tableau and PowerBI.
• Proactively contribute to product health by developing automated, scalable, and sustainable solutions that minimize defects and technical debt.
• Provide comprehensive support post-implementation and understand business data engineering needs to drive process development and solutions.
• Up to 30% travel to PACCAR's division locations may be required to support business activities.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• 1+ year of experience in Data Engineering with proficiency in Informatica, Attunity, Snowflake, AWS, and related services such as EC2, S3, and Lambda.
• Strong foundation in programming (Python, SQL), ETL processes, data modeling, and databases including SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
• Deep understanding of big data technologies such as Scala and Spark, with a Masters' degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with business intelligence solutions like Tableau and Power BI, capable of crafting insightful dashboards and reports.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in CI/CD practices, container deployments, and experience with modern API maintenance and analytics models.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
