The Role:

As a seasoned Data Engineer in our Data Infrastructure team, you will be instrumental in the design and implementation of our shared data tools and infrastructure. You'll devise reusable data platform components and tools that enhance the way engineering teams manipulate data. As an experienced voice in the team, you will mentor colleagues, refine our technical standards and best practices, and contribute to our systematic design approach and data pipeline architecture culture.

The Team:

You will work across the engineering organization to understand their data pipeline challenges, how they're addressing those, and how these solutions could be utilized across the company. You will engage with various teams within the organization to comprehend complex data issues and seek efficient compromises.

Requirements:

• You possess over 8 years of experience in designing and architecting systems that resolve intricate data problems.
• You are proficient in data modeling and understand how to create unified data type descriptions from varied data source representations.
• You have familiarity with data science and statistical analysis methods, especially those pertaining to financial domains.
• You easily communicate technical concepts, consistently seek collaboration, and strive to deliver top-grade products.
• Your experience enables you to mentor team members, establish our engineering standards, and advocate a systematic design approach to creating new services.

Data Infrastructure Team Stack: Python, Snowflake, Argo, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes

The base salary range for this role is $170,000 - $240,000, which represents initial gross salaries for this position at Clear Street. The precise pay within this bracket will be determined by job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, and location. This range only signifies Base Salary, which is just one component of Clear Street's cumulative compensation package, and does not include additional elements such as bonuses or equity.
