Role Overview: Data Engineer

We are excited to offer a challenging and impactful on-site role in Adelaide, available as either a Contract or Permanent position. We seek a Data Engineer with a minimum NV1 security clearance to play a crucial role in analyzing enterprise data requirements and spearheading the design and implementation of sophisticated data solutions. Your role encompasses the use of advanced data modeling techniques, oversight of data structure practices, and integration of gateway capabilities. To thrive in this position, you must showcase an in-depth comprehension of data technologies, exemplary analytical prowess, and exceptional team collaboration abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluating enterprise data needs and strategizing on data modeling and design
• Selecting optimal techniques for meeting specific data objectives
• Guiding on data structures and infrastructure
• Designing and integrating gateway solutions, including virtualization and container technologies
• Implementing robust security measures for data protection
• Contributing to data technology projects with tools such as Ansible, Docker, Java, and Kubernetes
• Developing and maintaining comprehensive documentation for data systems

Who Should Apply?

• Minimum NV1 clearance, preferably NV2 or higher with a background in Defence or Federal Government
• Proficient in data modeling and design principles
• Experience with gateway capabilities, including virtualization and containerized solutions

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
