Opportunity Overview

Exciting career opportunities abound at Sobeys, and we are currently seeking a full-time Data Product Analyst. This dynamic role is open in our offices located in Stellarton, NS; Mississauga, ON; Calgary, AB, and includes flexible work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Data Product Analyst, you will:

  • Analyze data requirements and efficiently collaborate with both business teams and developers to devise effective solutions.
  • Handle priority management for support and enhancement initiatives within the development team.
  • Support multiple end-user tools, including SAS, SAP BW, Tableau, and Azure technologies.
  • Engage in data profiling, mapping, and issue resolution using advanced cloud-native technologies.
  • Create and refine data models and ensure seamless integration of business solutions into IT frameworks.
  • Collaborate with our Data Engineering, Analytics, and Machine Learning teams on critical customer-facing projects.

What We’re Looking For:

Your qualifications should include:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Computer Modeling, Science, Engineering, or Math with a strong focus on Information Systems.
  • At least 2 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or Software Engineer.
  • Proven expertise in SQL, with experience in data warehouse implementation both on-prem and on cloud platforms like Azure Cloud and Snowflake.
  • Familiarity with data visualization and data modeling tools and techniques.
  • Strong communication skills and proficiency in tools such as MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of programming and scripting (e.g., SQL, Python, Scala) will be considered an asset.
