Definitive Logic is looking for an ambitious Senior Data Engineer IV to join our team in aiding the US Air Force to strengthen their network security through the application of microsegmentation.
This professional will be a remote, full-time employee who is part of an agile team tasked with analyzing existing application servers using data and tools from various sources.

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assist our customers in improving the security of their network and enhancing the reporting of applications
- Act as a reliable advisor helping the Technology and Data Solutions (TDS) Practice and its customers to achieve their objectives
- Investigate and incorporate design strategies, product specifications, development schedules for client applications
- Participate in data engineering of existing client applications to facilitate the addition of a new application enabling microsegmentation
- Develop technical designs and specifications for complex data pipelines/data flows for customer/customers
- Identify data quality issues and potential fixes for consideration by Project Manager (PM) and/or customer stakeholders
- Identify data gaps and potential solutions or integration activity for consideration by Project Manager (PM) and/or customer
- Understand Department of Defense (DoD) data standards and management necessities
- Lead and influence team on project deliverables
- Drive quality assurance program for project deliverables
- Create quality deliverables for customers
- Drive a full life-cycle of services/solution delivery for project(s)
- Provide technical leadership to junior-level engineer
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of Relevant Experience
- Experience with the Department of Defense (DoD)
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Engineering, Mathematics, or Business
- DoD Secret Clearance or ability to obtain
- Information Assurance Certification ("8570 Certification") - Security + or higher
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in projects that include cloud solutions implemented in Air Force Cloud One
- Experience in projects that include software insertion
- Experience in projects that include network microsegmentation
