Key Responsibilities

  • Data extraction, transformation, and load (ETL) processes
  • Data mapping and analytical support
  • Operational and database support
  • Maintaining data systems and documentation
  • Work in a fast-paced, process-improvement environment
  • Develop large-scale databases and data flows

Essential Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience: 5+ years in software engineering and ETL processes.
  • Technical Skills: Experience with NiFi, Pentaho, or Spark. Knowledge in NoSQL datastores. Familiarity with Big Data Technologies, Java/J2EE, SQL, XML, XQuery, XPath, Python, Shell Scripting, JSON.
  • Security Clearance: TS/SCI with Polygraph

Additional Skills & Abilities

  • Developing and enhancing complex data flows
  • Investigating hardware/software compatibility issues
  • Troubleshooting ETL processes
  • Preparing analytical reports and documentation
  • Guiding junior software engineers
