Data Engineering Manager - Analytics Position at Meta, Singapore

About the Role:

You will play a pivotal role within Meta's Enterprise Products team, focusing on enhancing our data infrastructure to support the evolution of our enterprise solutions. This position involves close collaboration with a group of Data Scientists, Product Managers, and Software Engineers to ensure successful product launches and the implementation of effective data-driven strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the vision for Business Intelligence (BI) and Data Warehousing, devising and implementing a strategic plan to achieve this vision.
• Design and refine processes to achieve operational excellence across project management and system reliability.
• Hire and scale a high-performing BI and Data Warehousing team suited for future growth.
• Build strong cross-functional partnerships to understand data needs and deliver impactful solutions.
• Oversee the management of data warehouse plans and the development of new data models and pipelines.
• Champion data quality and manage Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for all running data processes and sets.
• Create and deliver high-impact dashboards and data visualizations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proven communication and leadership abilities, with a track record of initiating and driving forward projects.
• Experience in managing and scaling teams, ideally within BI and Data Warehousing contexts.
• Advanced knowledge in SQL and data architecture.
• Professional background in Computer Science, Math, Physics, or another technical field.
• Development skills in one or more object-oriented programming languages such as Python, Perl, or Java.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Expertise in developing scalable data solutions.
• Proficiency in tools like Hive, Presto, Tableau, and relational database management systems.
