The Team and Role
As a Data Governance Architect with Logitech, you’ll be part of the Solution Architecture team. Your main responsibility will be to design and implement scalable data governance strategies, structures, and processes across the entire Logitech organization. This role will empower business teams with governance solutions, enabling them to define governance policies, security rules, and providing easy access to data catalogs and related artifacts based on security definitions. Additionally, you'll design systems to benchmark, control, and improve data quality.

Implement a Data Governance Framework
- Design and develop data governance solutions to implement governance policies and ensure the quality and integrity of organizational data.
- Create solutions for data catalog, data dictionary, data lineage, data security, and access, including row level, column level, masking, tokenization, and encryption.
- Coordinate a Data Governance Steering Committee and execute its decisions to drive standards throughout the organization.
- Provide guidance and support to departments, business groups, and data owners for compliance with data governance policies and standards.
- Collaborate with IT, Cybersecurity, and Privacy teams to implement data governance and data quality tools.
- Ensure customer and product MDM data programs adhere to consistent governance approaches organization-wide.
- Redefine change management processes to maintain governance with each deployment to production.
Implement a Data Quality Framework
- Collaborate with stakeholders to establish data quality standards, benchmarks, and guidelines.
- Lead data quality improvement initiatives, including data catalog creation, data cleansing, and enrichment.
- Define and monitor key data quality metrics and KPIs.
- Maintain data quality monitoring and reporting processes.
- Ensure success of Gen AI programs by creating an enterprise data layer for training AI platforms and tools.
Implement a Central Data Platform
- Create and promote a strategy for a central data platform supporting enterprise data governance, lineage, and quality processes.
- Collaborate with the Enterprise Architecture team for scalable integration design.
Key Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related field with 10+ years of experience.
- Minimum of 5 years in data management, governance, privacy, or security.
- Expertise in managing enterprise-wide governance initiatives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong understanding of cloud-centric architecture and leading SAAS database platforms.
Preferred skills include:
- Experience in creating cross-functional data governance programs.
- Identifying improvement areas in data governance processes and developing AI use strategies.
- Developing policies related to research data management, AI implementation, and data protection.
- Experience with leading DG tools.
