Job Description:

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

We are seeking a Data Governance Specialist with:

• Overall experience of 5+ years in the industry, with at least 2 years as a Data Governance specialist.
• Proficiency in SQL and Database Management activities.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Amazon Redshift, Apache Spark, and Athena.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the implementation of data governance solutions, developing and supporting operations using leading MDM, Data Quality, Data Cataloging, and Data Governance solutions.
• Implement end-to-end data governance solutions, focusing on the deployment of Data Governance tools (Collibra/Atlan) to meet organizational objectives and requirements.
• Develop and deploy data governance frameworks and standards, including data policies and processes for data ingestion, movement, quality, master & reference data, and data lifecycle management.
• Conduct data profiling, quality assessments, and lineage analysis to identify issues and formulate remediation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory data practices and evolving regulatory policies.
• Support business stakeholders, data stewards, and data owners in the effective use of data governance tools.
• Stay updated on the latest trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data governance, proactively recommending enhancements and improvements.
• Experience in an agile environment and collaboration on Data Governance topics.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Hands-on experience with Mulesoft, MS Purview, and Profisee.
• Certifications such as Collibra Data Steward, Data Governance Practitioner, or Cloud Data Governance CDGC Foundation Certification.

Qualifications:

BE, MCA, BTech, or MTech in a relevant field.
