Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated full-time HIM Data Integrity Analyst to join our team in Miami, FL. This role is integral in evaluating and ensuring the accuracy of data within our electronic medical record systems, enhancing patient care through precise patient matching and effective information flow synchronization.

Key Responsibilities

The HIM Data Integrity Analyst will:

• Implement best practices for accurate patient identification and data matching.
• Manage the collection and integrity of patient demographic data across digital platforms.
• Analyze and apply algorithms for reducing duplicate records and enhancing data accuracy.
• Work with various algorithms and understand key MPI data management terms to maintain data integrity.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, HITECH, ARRA, and other federal regulations by working closely with the HIPAA Privacy Office.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to implement data quality improvements and corrective actions.
• Participate in large-scale data clean-up projects and contribute to strategies that enhance patient safety and care interoperability.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• AHIMA RHIA or RHIT Credential preferred.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines during high-pressure situations.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage confidential information discreetly.
