Data Integrity Specialist Job Opportunity at Atmos Energy

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

1. Data Management: Create, maintain, and validate system data at the division level, ensuring the integrity and consistency of records. Serve as a liaison between enterprise-wide workgroups.

2. Cross-Department Collaboration: Maintain a collaborative relationship and constant communication with other departments to facilitate the timely completion of business process exception management cases.

3. Research and Reporting: Demonstrate knowledge and skill in data research techniques. Resolve incomplete records and address data anomalies. May compile and prepare reports, graphs, and charts.

4. Root Cause Analysis: Collect data to conduct root cause analysis of issues. Identify and recommend initiatives to increase efficiencies. Escalate complex issues to Hub team members for support and intervention when necessary.

Minimum Requirements

Educational and Experience Level

A general educational knowledge acquired through a high school diploma or a General Equivalency Diploma (GED), along with three years of experience in accounting, finance, customer billing/collections, or a closely related field.

Problem-Solving and Independent Judgment

Perform varied work that requires evaluation, originality, and ingenuity.

Communication Skills

Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers to obtain and provide explanations and information. Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Numeric Skills

Ability to perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.

Computer Skills

Basic computer skills required to utilize various software applications for developing documents, reports, and graphics.

Work Conditions

Work in an office environment with occasional activities including bending, stooping, grasping, reaching, twisting, turning, and lifting. May require some travel to other offices, including possible overnight travel.
