Your Role

As a Senior Data Modeling Consultant in our Technology Consulting department, you will be a crucial part of our Data & Analytics team. Your work will involve:

• Communicating with experts across diverse domains to grasp their needs and unique challenges.
• Developing sophisticated data models using UML, XML, and other object-oriented modeling languages.
• Creating and implementing semantic data models, ontologies, and application profiles aimed at enhancing data interoperability.
• Advising on and participating in data standardization projects across various government levels.
• Engaging with data-technical experts to refine existing solutions and ensuring effective data reuse and interoperability.
• Guiding and mentoring junior team members, and managing multiple complex projects simultaneously.

Who You Are

With at least a Master's Degree in Computer Science, Economics, Business Engineering, or a related field, you are someone with:

• Minimum 2 years experience in semantic data modeling.
• Deep understanding of data and metadata standards, vocabularies, and ontologies.
• Proven experience in interoperability projects and the Semantic Web (familiarity with RDF, SHACL, SKOS, Turtle, and SPARQL is a plus).
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch, French, and/or English.
• An analytical mind, flexible approach, and eagerness to learn and apply new technologies.
