Key Responsibilities

As a Data Product Owner, you will:

• Own and develop various data products with support from a dedicated team.
• Define and communicate the strategic vision for data products.
• Collaborate closely with data scientists, data engineers, and business stakeholders to drive product development.
• Ensure quality and scalable technical architectures and data foundations.
• Create analytics products, extract value, and provide actionable recommendations.
• Engage with senior stakeholders to ensure aligned roadmaps and commitments.
• Coach team members and foster collaboration.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• A product background with a bachelor/master’s degree in engineering, mathematics, business analytics, or computer science with experience in data analysis.
• 10+ years of experience in product ownership with a focus on data products.
• A proven leadership record.
• Experience in developing scalable data products.
• Familiarity with managing large datasets and batch and/or real-time data pipelines.
• Proficiency in Python/PySpark combined with Spark/Databricks.
• Ability to write SQL queries to explore and understand data.
• Capability to deliver end-to-end products, including front-end development.
• Ensurance that data transformations are well-documented, follow best practices, and are understood by business users and developers.
• An analytical mindset and knowledge of statistical analysis.
• Experience with AIML models (a plus).
• Familiarity with Agile / Scrum practices; a good team player.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective team collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
• Proficiency in written and oral English.
