Job Description: Data Product Owner

Ferrovial Group is seeking a seasoned professional with a proven track record in leading data products. If you have experience transforming business units (airports, construction, toll roads, energy, water, etc.) into data-driven companies, this is the role for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Align with business leaders to understand their data-related challenges and opportunities.
• Identify the business value of new data initiatives.
• Stay updated on market trends and data partners.
• Design and propose the best technical solutions to meet data needs.
• Be responsible and fully accountable for data initiative execution.
• Apply data security and quality policies to all data initiatives.
• Promote standards and best practices.
• Manage budget effectively.
• Communicate the value of data across the organization.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience leading data initiatives and acting as a Product Owner in a large company.
• At least 5 years of experience managing different technical teams.
• At least 2 years of experience in budget management for data products.
• Strong ability to understand and align stakeholder needs.
• Expertise in Azure cloud services, including Azure Data Lake, Data Factory, Databricks, Unity Catalog, SQL Server, and Power BI.
• Experience in leading data products that aggregate data from various sources (e.g., Excel, Sharepoint, SAP, CRM, APIs, IoT devices).
• Participation in data governance programs for large companies.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate value across organizational levels.
• Fluent in English (C2 proficiency).
