What You Will Do:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on use cases in diverse sectors such as data privacy and security or health solutions to develop analytics and AI solutions.
• Promote data-driven decision-making and fast-track the adoption of AI.
• Automate and facilitate data exploration, analysis, and the development of machine learning models.
• Develop and deploy machine learning models and algorithms.
• Create algorithms, functions, and reusable libraries to enhance data science capabilities.

Qualifications

You should have:

• Hands-on experience in data exploration, predictive modeling, and statistical analysis.
• Proficiency in machine learning, statistics, and AI techniques such as regression, large language models, natural language processing, Bayesian analysis, and optimization.
• Strong communication skills to translate technical concepts to a non-specialized audience.
• Expertise in Python and data science libraries (e.g., Scikit-learn, Pandas, Numpy) and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, Pytorch, Keras, PyMC3).
• Proficiency in SQL and data manipulation, comfortable with metadata and data discovery.
• Familiarity with the Jupyter environment, integrated development environments, GitHub, and infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Docker, Terraform, Pulumi).
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like Google Cloud Platform, Amazon Web Services, or Azure.
• Understanding of the AI and software development life cycles, including machine learning processes.
• An agile mindset with a drive to innovate and experiment.

Assets:

• Master's or Ph.D. in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, Cognitive Science, or Data Science.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and working in a startup environment.
• Google Cloud Platform certification or similar in the cloud domain.
