About you
We are looking for an experienced Data Scientist to spearhead our endeavors in the development and refinement of image-to-signal digitization processes. The ideal candidate should have experience in converting ECG images into usable signal data for further processing by machine learning algorithms.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Creating, testing, and refining algorithms to transform ECG images into digital signal data.
- Working alongside the machine learning team to ensure the signal data is of high quality and fit for algorithmic processing.
- Carrying out research to stay abreast of the latest techniques and best practices in ECG signal processing.
- Designing and implementing validation processes to guarantee the digitized data's accuracy.
- Offering technical expertise in this specific field and guiding less experienced team members.
Requirements
- Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of signal processing techniques and tools.
- Demonstrable experience in image processing, particularly relating to ECG or medical imaging.
- Proficiency in Python and relevant libraries (e.g., OpenCV, SciPy).
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
