About the Role: As a Data Scientist in HV Propulsion Product Development, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing the lifecycle of high-voltage propulsion components through our cutting-edge Re-X (Recertification, Refurbishment, and Remanufacture) programs. You'll tap into an array of data sources including production specifics, connected vehicle data, and warranty information to ensure optimal performance and pioneering advancements in electric vehicle technology.

What You'll Do:

• Become a subject matter expert on Ford’s comprehensive connected data systems.
• Analyze extensive datasets to assess the condition of incoming seed stock.
• Contribute to the specification, development, and enhancement of Re-X EV engineering specifications.
• Collaborate with the Quality OPD program engineers and multiple teams across Ford for seamless execution of projects.
• Support various facets of PD EV Re-X Engineering, including reverse engineering and component analysis.
• Assist in developing and verifying processes and testing related to Re-X projects.

What You'll Need:

Required Qualifications:

• B.S. in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• At least 2 years of experience, with proficiency in SQL and database management systems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with data processing tools such as Alteryx or Python.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals and vehicle diagnostic systems.
