Role Overview and Responsibilities

As a Data Scientist Intern, you will:

• Develop and implement AI-driven systems for automated data collection and real-time data processing from global maritime sources.
• Engineer dynamic geofencing algorithms to optimize maritime operations and situational awareness.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate AI models into existing platforms, ensuring optimal functionality and user experience.
• Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance of all systems, documenting and refining performance.
• Prepare comprehensive project documentation and deliver presentations to stakeholders on system capabilities and benefits.

Intern Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess:

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master’s program in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or related field.
• Demonstrated proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
• Familiarity with machine learning libraries like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Capability to function independently and collaboratively in team settings.

Note: All selected candidates will undergo and need to pass a background check in compliance with NIST 800-171.
