Position Overview: Data Scientist Level II - Active Secret Clearance Required

As a leader at the forefront of data and technology, Redhorse is on a mission to enhance how government agencies utilize information. We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Scientist within our Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO) and Chief Technology Office (CTO), specifically supporting the Architecture Council. This role plays a key part in advancing AI/ML and data-driven initiatives within the Department of Defense (DoD). You’ll receive direct guidance from the Government portfolio lead and have a chance to shape major projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategies to mitigate insider threats, including coordinating with industry partners and DoD components.
• Investigate relevant data sources for detecting insider threats and participate in enhancing existing defense frameworks.
• Utilize statistical, machine learning, and deep learning techniques to establish robust detection methods within large community infrastructures.
• Author comprehensive documentation that delineates strategic approaches to insider threat management within the broader DoD framework.

Minimum Requirements:

• Mandatory possession of an active Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field with a minimum of 4 years of experience, or Master’s Degree with 2 years of experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Jupyter, Spark, and TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Proven experience in applying data science for anomaly detection within sectors like insider threat detection, fraud detection, or anti-abuse systems.
• Strong technical writing capabilities are essential.
