Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Data Scientist Manager to lead our dynamic team. In this role, you will tackle complex business challenges with data-driven solutions, creating meaningful impacts across the company. Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to set priorities, design data models, and drive strategic decisions through meticulous data analysis and insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Leverage ambiguous business problems as strategic opportunities using data.
• Develop a robust understanding of product experiences and business operations in your focus area.
• Forge strong relationships with product and business teams to establish a clear roadmap and success metrics.
• Engage deeply with engineering teams to understand data generation and design sustainable data practices.
• Drive the design and maintenance of advanced data models to analyze performance drivers effectively.
• Balance sustainable, high-impact projects with tactical, quick wins to enhance business value.
• Coach and mentor data scientists and analysts, fostering both technical and professional growth.
• Support KPI design, goal setting, and advanced analytics to aid decision-making processes.

Requirements:

• Proven expertise in the entire data analysis lifecycle, from problem identification to presentation.
• Advanced proficiency in Python or R, with exceptional SQL skills.
• Experience with data modeling, experiments design (A/B and multivariate tests), and various analysis types.
• Familiarity with BigQuery, GCP, and data pipeline tools like Airflow preferred.
• Background in data science within a consumer-focused online product environment is advantageous.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; postgraduate degree is a plus.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in data science, with at least 2 years leading data teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative spirit.
