The Global Analytics and Research Center (GARC) is a crucial strategic initiative aimed at enhancing our data science capabilities, establishing a cost-effective analytics operating model, and advancing data science maturity across our global community.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with senior Data Scientists and Managers to translate business problems into analytical queries.
• Conduct Exploratory Data Analysis to ascertain the most suitable ML models for the business needs.
• Develop, test, and refine algorithms to achieve desired outcomes.
• Transform analytical insights into actionable business strategies, improving stakeholder outcomes.
• Uphold coding and development best practices within the team.
• Effectively document your methodologies for clear, intuitive understanding.
• Promote knowledge-sharing within MetLife's global analytics community.

Who We're Looking For:

• 3-5 years of experience in data and analytics.
• Proficiency in Python, R, SPSS, with PySpark being a beneficial skill.
• Expertise in statistical models including Linear and Logistic Regression, Random Forest, and more.
• Solid understanding of Big Data technologies such as Hadoop (Spark, Hive, Pig).
• Exceptional communication skills, capable of engaging effectively with stakeholders.
• Background in BFSI domain preferred but not mandatory.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field is required, a Master’s degree is preferred.
