Core One is seeking a Data Scientist to support the program. This position requires an active TS clearance. This position is contingent upon contract award. Roles & Responsibilities: Use database theory, including relational databases, to design table structures and relationships, create queries, macros, forms, and reports. Normalize data and use data flow and entity relationship diagrams to complete daily tasks. Gather requirements and formulate database designs to support assessments, analyses, and war-gaming. Coordinate the preparation and input of all data and databases utilized for assessments, analyses, and war-gaming. Prepare resultant data to facilitate the analysis of outcomes. Establish links to compile files containing results data. Provide presentation-ready data in various formats to end-users. Adopt comprehensive database design practices, covering table relationships, the creation of complex queries, implementation of user interfaces, report generation, and automation. Integrate analytical applications, like R and/or Python modeling languages, with the suite of Microsoft applications, including Excel, SharePoint, Access, and Word. Collaborate with operational technical experts to ensure seamless integration. Develop data management tools that support statistical and predictive analysis, along with state-of-the-art algorithms. Create tools and reports that help users in accessing and analyzing data effectively. Validate data for accuracy to guarantee precise analysis results. Apply a broad spectrum of analytical data-mining techniques to produce complex and accurate data representations. Increase data reuse by introducing data reduction strategies. Develop unique data views and analyses, including dynamic visualizations and maps, using a variety of data sources. Produce finished products suitable for presentation and final reporting. Requirements: Civilian Education: Preferred BA/BS Disciplines in Applied Statistics, Operations Research, Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, or another related field. Maintain an active Top Secret (TS) security clearance and be eligible for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access. Optional Specialization: Possess expertise in Computer Coding, Database Management and Planning, or Network Services Planning. Core One is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
