YOUR MISSION Improve the data lifecycle (40%) - Evaluate the current data infrastructure and recommend an integration plan with future systems based on LeddarTech's business vision. - Advise the data engineering team on improving tools, processes, and pipeline. - Create and update the procedure for a specific data lifecycle process. - Work collaboratively with data engineering, DEVOPS, IT, and Architect to develop the optimal data infrastructure. This includes proposing best practice suggestions and fostering technical discussions to develop the best solution for LeddarTech's future needs. Data Specialist – Support Data Collection and Annotation Projects (50%) - Lead an annotation project and deliver quality data to the company's internal customers. - Contribute to executing technical tasks of the data lifecycle process (e.g. recording, slicing, QA) to ensure data throughput and quality. - Review and approve the team's work quality. - Challenge and enhance the data annotation policy with the support of the algorithm and test team. - Master the annotation policy as well as all tools and methods of the data lifecycle. Contribute to improving the annotation policy and tools. Collaborate in the Development of the Organization (10%) - Participate in relevant meetings. - Collaborate with coworkers. - Participate in the organization's administrative processes. - Maintain current knowledge. - Collaborate with DevOps, data engineering, and data verification teams to design and implement the best data pipeline for product line development. - Work with the Data engineering team to design and implement data collection tools. The ideal candidate will have - A B.Sc./B.A degree in industrial engineering, electrical engineering, software engineering, or another technical discipline. - Two or more years of experience in a technical role. - Experience in a startup is considered an asset. - Experience working with international customers and partners is preferred. - Prior management of complex projects is an asset. - A self-motivated problem-solver with a passion for technology. - Knowledge of software development (Python is a plus). - Experience with data formats, robotics, calibration, neural networks is a plus. - Bilingual ability in English and French is ESSENTIAL.
