Job Description

About the role:

The data strategist's role is to assist companies in becoming data driven. The primary step for a company to become data driven is to outline the data strategy. Your role involves defining this data strategy in collaboration with all the C-level executives of our customers.

• You are aware of the latest developments in BI, data analytics and cloud and you will conduct client workshops, brainstorming sessions & client meetings to determine how their data can be significant if employed correctly & to enhance their business performance

• You will prepare project roadmaps & trajectory reports in conjunction with the business and our internal teams

• You will work alongside our Data Engineers, Cloud Architects and change managers to determine the right data strategy and the appropriate execution path. Your background may not necessarily be in Cloud Architecture or Data Engineering, but you possess enough experience and a broad understanding of how data operates and its benefits to clients in various fields (marketing, sales, finance, operations, …)

What we are looking for:

• You have prior work experience in an IT Consultancy Company or in the IT Department of a company that has advanced Data Management
• You have extensive experience as Business Analyst/Functional Analyst or Project Manager
• You have an established track record of steering Data related projects (Data Warehouse, Machine Learning, Cloud Solutions)
• Demonstrated track record of working with longer sales cycles with international stakeholders
• Experience with cloud solutions (GCP, Azure, AWS or other) is essential
• Excellent communication & client facing abilities such as storytelling and problem solving
• You have a Technical and/or a Business-oriented background
• You are fluent in English and have a competent level of French and/or Dutch
