Join Our Team as a Data Visualisation Analyst at Kellanova

Are you passionate about transforming data into actionable insights? As a Data Visualisation Analyst at Kellanova, you'll build and manage the governance structure around all visualizations created on Kellanova-owned platforms. Utilizing advanced data modelling and querying tools, you'll establish best practices for SQL code design, applying logic and joining tables to support a robust data visualization platform.

Responsibilities

Working at our Media City office in Manchester, this hybrid role offers flexibility with three in-office days each week. You will collaborate closely with the Analytics and Reporting team to continuously enhance new and existing dashboards, integrating them into business processes and providing navigation training for end-users. You'll be part of a dedicated core team of six and will report directly to our Senior IT Business Relationship Manager, Analytics Delivery.

This role is pivotal in Kellanova's journey towards becoming an insights-driven organization by leveraging system-generated data for creating impactful reporting tools and solutions. A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

  • Visualization Governance Framework: Create a governance framework for all KEU dashboard builds.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Conduct performance audits for major dashboards built by the Analytics Delivery Team and provide quarterly reports on audit findings.
  • Monitoring: Ensure business continuity with existing reporting solutions, troubleshoot data load performance issues, and resolve flagged issues in collaboration with business team SMEs and IT support.
  • PowerBi Migration: Work closely with end-users to identify and implement migration of existing dashboards to PowerBi.
  • External Perspective: Stay updated on external data visualization tools and best practices to adopt innovations from the KEU Data Community, Global sessions, or networks such as Tableau User Community.

We’re Looking for Someone With

  • Advanced development and deployment skills in PowerBi (Desktop, Web).
  • Familiarity with other visualization tools like Qlikview.
  • Technical data modelling and querying experience with Microsoft SQL Server and AWS technologies (Redshift, Glue, S3, DBeaver, Snowflake).
  • Experience with R Studio for designing and developing automation solutions.
  • Knowledge of data visualization best practices and design processes.
  • Ability to inherit and evolve existing data models, including troubleshooting.
