The applicant will join a team of Data Analytic Engineers managing various clients' Databricks instances, with a significant emphasis on data on-boarding, migration from obsolete systems, content development, configuration, troubleshooting, reporting, and visualizations. All applicants must have previous Databricks engineering and administration experience, meet the necessary certification prerequisites, and function well in a team setting. Applicants with experience serving federal customers have an advantage. As a TZT consultant, the candidate will gain access to our comprehensive knowledge base courtesy of the True Zero community and the technical support from the entire Professional Services team. True Zero promotes collaboration and growth through information dissemination and knowledge workshops. The applicant will also have access to our internal Slack channel to maintain contact with the team, as well as the necessary tools to train, test, and enhance their professional skills. Mandatory Qualifications: - Databricks Professional Certification - Experience in maintaining and managing enterprise Databricks setups - Over 3 years of Databricks experience in an active production environment - Familiarity with common operating systems (e.g. Windows, Linux, CentOS, Ubuntu, and/or Red Hat Enterprise Linux - RHEL) - Experience with data input and processing techniques - Experience with multi-node clustering architecture, development, implementation, and system health monitoring - Knowledge of lifecycle management implementations - Experience in constructing and optimizing large data pipelines, architectures, and datasets - Knowledge of DB schema modeling and design for read and write performance - Experience in DevOps and Agile organizations - Experience in performing root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer specific business queries and identify enhancement opportunities - Excellent written and oral skills, ability to work closely with multiple customers, manage expectations, and supervise engagement scope - U.S. Citizenship is required as this is in support of a Federal Customer Preferred Qualifications: - Understanding of Syslog daemon configuration principles, preferably in Syslog-NG and RSyslog configurations - Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, etc.) - Splunk Enterprise Experience - Development and API experience (Python, Perl, XML) - Experience with SaltStack, Ansible, and other enterprise automation tools - Hardware and storage experience (SAN, NAS, etc.) - Git experience (GitHub & GitLab) - Cribl experience is a plus We are actively seeking skilled security and technology professionals who are ready to experience the True Zero difference.
