We're seeking a senior leader to join our data science organization who is excited about the challenges associated with rapid growth and is passionate about uniting people through a positive and inclusive culture. As the Data Science Manager for Figma's business data functions, you will collaborate closely with your team, executives, and the wider data organization to deliver strategic insights and build data products to enhance operational efficiency and help Figma advance its business objectives. This is a full-time role that can be carried out from one of our US hubs or remotely within the United States. What you'll do at Figma: - Manage, support, and develop a varied team of data scientists, business analysts, and managers who control all data aspects within the finance, marketing, and sales departments. - Collaborate with finance, marketing, and sales leadership to set goals, strategies, and priorities. - Foster a data-driven culture by advancing metrics reporting and understanding of business trends. - Guide the development of new and more sophisticated data applications. - Establish trust within and across teams by creating accountability and a positive working environment in collaboration with other leaders in the organization. - Advance your career in a committed and creative community. We'd love to hear from you if you have: - 5+ years of experience overseeing high-output data science teams of various sizes. - Deep experience working with Finance, Sales, and Marketing departments. - Strong financial modeling experience and a readiness to delve into the details. - Proven success in influencing business objectives and delivering high-quality data products that support those objectives. - Solid knowledge of statistical methods, including forecasting, lead scoring, and attribution modeling. - A passion and unwavering commitment to using data and metrics to guide business decisions. - A desire to build an inclusive and diverse culture. - Experience scaling teams in high-growth environments. - A highly entrepreneurial “roll up your sleeves” mindset. Pay Transparency Disclosure: If based in Figma’s San Francisco or New York hub offices, this role has the annual base salary range stated below. Job level and actual compensation will be determined based on factors including but not limited to individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (such as skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location. The listed range is a guideline and the range for this role may be adjusted. For roles that can be filled remotely, the pay range is localized according to employee work location by a factor of between 80% and 100% of range.
