Responsibilities
- Operational Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive operational strategy that aligns with the company's goals, focusing on process improvement, cost optimization, and resource allocation.
- Business Intelligence: Oversee the design and implementation of business intelligence systems, including data collection, analysis, and reporting to drive data-driven decision-making.
- Process Optimization: Identify areas for process improvement and automation, streamlining operations to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Team Leadership: Build and manage a top-performing team, promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration, and ongoing improvement.
- Data Analytics: Use advanced data analytics tools to extract actionable insights from internal and external data sources, providing recommendations for business growth.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to assess the impact of operational decisions on company profitability and offer recommendations for cost control and revenue enhancement.
- Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to measure the success of initiatives and projects.
- Contract Negotiations: Lead contract negotiations with suppliers, vendors, and partners to optimize terms and agreements.
- Business Systems Improvement: Identify and implement improvements in business systems and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- New Systems Identification and Implementation: Identify and evaluate new systems and technologies that can drive operational improvements and oversee their implementation.
- Process Efficiencies: Continuously analyze and enhance operational processes to drive efficiencies and reduce operational costs.
- Human Resources Planning: Plan and optimize human resource allocation to meet operational needs efficiently.
- Demand Forecasting: Develop and implement demand forecasting models to optimize inventory management and resource allocation.
- Leading Business Intelligence Team: Manage and lead the business intelligence team, ensuring the delivery of accurate, timely, and actionable insights.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Data Science, or a related field.
- MBA, Master's degree, or additional certifications is a plus.
- At least 7+ years of experience in an operations management and business intelligence role.
- At least 3+ years in a senior strategic leadership role.
- Proficiency in data analytics tools and business intelligence platforms (e.g., Excel, Power BI, SQL).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a focus on fostering a culture of innovation, professional growth, and continuous improvement.
- Proficiency in ERP systems such as Netsuite and experience with creating dashboards, reports, and app implementation.
- Strategic thinker with a proven track record of driving operational excellence and implementing process improvements.
- Knowledge of supply chain management, inventory control, and procurement processes.
- Financial acumen and the ability to analyze financial data to support decision-making.
- Solid understanding of financial concepts, budgeting, and demand forecasting.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation skills to establish relationships with strategic partners, ensuring favorable terms for the organization while fostering win-win outcomes.
- Familiarity with logistics and supply chain software and systems is a plus.
