Role Overview

Reporting to the BA Controller within the Advanced Process Manufacturing (APM), a key sector of our Global Business Area - Places, the Divisional Data Analyst will play a pivotal role. You will provide crucial insights and analysis, contributing to the business intelligence and reporting pursuits of our dynamic finance teams across the globe. This position is rooted in enhancing performance analysis, supporting strategic investments, and securing data across multiple platforms, ensuring both growth and efficiency within our operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the APM financial guidelines through comprehensive management reporting on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Ensure accurate divisional consolidation and foster reporting integrity during budget and forecast cycles.
• Enhance financial tools aiding in-depth business analysis, working capital optimizations, and forecasting accuracy.
• Analyze Orderbook & Pipeline to derive actionable commercial insights.
• Maintain data validation and consistency across key reporting systems including OneStream, Oracle, and Power BI.
• Promote best practices within the finance function, both locally and globally within GBA, driving process automation and efficiency.
• Engage in strategic growth initiatives providing support through advanced modeling, bid management, and integration analysis.
• Handle ad hoc analytical tasks supporting both the FP&A and Growth teams strategically.

Qualifications & Experience

The ideal candidate will be a prodigious part-qualified accountant, or hold an equivalent degree of experience, with a background in medium to large-scale global operations. You should possess:

• Advanced data management and reporting skills, with proficiency in BI tools and Microsoft Excel.
• A methodical approach to work demanding precision.
• Strong initiative, with the capability to manage time efficiently.
• An innovative, proactive, and outcomes-focused attitude.
• Experience with ERP systems, particularly Oracle Cloud and MS Power BI.
• Understanding of financial statements including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow.
• Fluency in English, with strong communicative proficiency.
