Position: Drone Imagery Analyst - Data Specialist

The Drone Imagery Analyst - Data Specialist will be tasked with processing various types of UAV data, including LiDAR, Photogrammetry, and Visual Inspections, and transforming this data into deliverables for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing and analyzing high-resolution drone images.
  • Interpreting data and generating reports for surveying and digital twin efforts.
  • Advanced 3D modeling and strong analytical skills.
  • Handling photogrammetry, LiDAR, and other point cloud data in various software programs according to client requirements.
  • Compiling and submitting daily and inspection reports promptly.
  • Maintaining strong client, facility, and customer relations; fostering a positive work environment.
  • Collaborating with AISS Team Lead and fellow AISS technicians.

Essential Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Willingness to travel according to business needs.
  • Completion of pre-employment, annual, recurring, and random drug tests. This includes Urinalysis, Hair Follicle, and Breathalyzer screenings.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a TWIC card.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs or more.
  • Exhibiting Intertek’s 10X Energies consistently.
  • Adhering to all safety practices to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
  • Efficient time management and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
  • Effective communication and interaction skills in verbal, written, and presentation formats.
  • Possession of technical and administrative competencies required for job duties.
  • Customer-focused and quality-driven attitude.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience with UAV software platforms like Pix4D, Bentley, Agisoft Metashape, FLIR Thermal Studio.
  • Survey/GIS field experience and related software knowledge.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience with UAV Elios 2/3 and DJI M300/M350 and point cloud dataset processing.
