Job Description

• As a data management solution engineer, you will design, develop and operate cloud native data management solutions with data pipelines for ingesting, processing, and transforming data from vehicle fleets to feature development teams.
• In your role as a data management solution engineer, you will follow design principles that enable high scalability of the solution for managing large volumes of data seamlessly and in a cost-effective way.
• As part of the data management solution, you will also be required to identify and develop value-added services based on the collected data with the help of efficient data analysis methods and practices.
• In your position, you will also be responsible for identifying and incorporating new features into the existing data management system for multiple project variants.
• Your solutions should enable functional development teams to seamlessly utilize the collected and derived data in their feature development, such as MLOps workflow.
• You will be part of an agile development team tasked with defining, developing, and deploying the solutions.

Qualifications

• Master's or bachelor's degree in computer science, information science, or a related engineering discipline
• Experience: 8 to 12 years of experience in large scale data management domain

Additional Information

Required Skills & Experience:

• Exceptional programming skills in Python
• Hands-on experience in designing and developing features using uService application principles
• Practical experience with cloud-native service deployment, including Docker, k8s, and so on.
• Experience in DevOps, data pipelines and several messaging systems (like Kafka) on a Cloud-native setup (preferably Azure)
• Familiarity with storage technologies (like NoSQL, and so on) and cloud-native database and optimization methods.
• Experience in designing data models and data formats

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• Good working knowledge of Azure
• Good understanding of cloud-native database solutions (such as CosMosDB)
• Experience with data collection from fleets as well as data ingestion, processing, and transformation in a data loop for deep learning
• A motivational attitude, excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, along structured and analytical.
