For the Data Science (Operations & SC) Stream of our 2-year-rotational European Graduate Program, we are looking for Graduates with a passion for discovering the information hidden in vast amounts of data. In this strategic role, you will work on varying assignments in partnership with the entire Supply Chain & Operations organization in its journey towards digitization and the Manufacturing For Future initiative.
Your main objective will be to understand the supply chain and operations processes and the problems these departments face, using your analytical mind to collect and deepen relevant data. You will also research, train and test models and modeling techniques suitable for problem-solving and deliver these results to the business in a tangible and consistent way.
Your responsibilities will include:
Improve data collection procedures to include relevant information for building analytical systems, enabling problem-solving investigation
Process, clean and verify the integrity of data used for analysis
Research, train and test models, including feature selection, construction and optimization of classifiers, using predictive machine learning techniques
Identify improvements to current processes and study future opportunities for the various functions
Support strategic efforts to engage the entire organization in this space
Build and maintain a strong working relationship with your key internal partners to support the growing use of data science to improve operational and financial performance
Manage test cycles
Provide training and coaching services to key users on the solutions built

Qualifications
We are looking for agile problem-solvers who enjoy working in a dynamic and collaborative environment, and who are striving to make a difference by contributing their own strengths and ideas.
What we also expect you to have:
You have completed or are about to complete a Master's degree in business analytics, mathematics, statistics, computer science, electrical/computer engineering or an equivalent degree with a specialization in data science
You gained first relevant practical experience, preferably in an international manufacturing environment
You have good English skills
You have experience with at least one of the following: Python, R, STATA, MatLab
You are familiar with common packages for data manipulation/munging, testing/analysis and visualizations
You have good skills in applied statistics, such as distributions, statistical testing, statistical modeling and a strong understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms
