An exciting career awaits at nbn® Australia for an Executive Manager Data Quality Expert, reporting directly to the General Manager, Data Governance Operations.

Your Role

The Executive Manager Data Quality Expert is responsible for crafting and sustaining company-wide data quality frameworks, metrics, and standards. This role involves proactively spotting data quality issues, creating detailed remediation plans, and enacting robust data controls to improve data quality across nbn®.

In this role, you will:

• Collaborate with Data Stewards on defining Key Quality Indicators (KQI) and targets
• Support in measuring and evaluating data quality
• Advocate for investments to address identified threshold breaches
• Champion the significance of data quality across the organization

Your Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in data quality management, including assessing and measuring data quality. Proficiency in solving complex data quality issues using SQL is a must. Familiarity with data quality frameworks and tools like Great Expectations and OpenMetadata, or similar, is highly advantageous.

• A proven track record of influencing stakeholders at all levels
• The capability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
