MediaMarktSaturn Technology is searching for a skilled Experienced Data Engineer - Analytics Data Foundation (m/f/d) to contribute to the development of our next-generation analytics platform. Located in our headquarters in Ingolstadt and München, this full-time role is a remarkable opportunity to impact Europe’s leading consumer electronics retailer’s technology landscape.

Your Tasks

As a key member of our Analytics domain, you will:

• Enhance our data modeling and load frameworks to meet business requirements.
• Design solutions for various components of our data landscape, ensuring clear communication of these designs within the team and with stakeholders.
• Develop robust data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform tools such as Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Composer, Dataform, and Cloud Run.
• Manage and provision cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IAAC) practices with Terraform.
• Work collaboratively within our team and across product teams, sharing data engineering best practices and supporting project developments.

Your Profile

Ideal candidates will have:

• A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in designing and implementing cloud data platforms.
• A solid understanding of Data Warehouse architecture and concepts.
• Advanced skills in SQL and Python, with a preference for candidates also skilled in Kotlin. Experience with Google Cloud Platform and Terraform is highly preferred.
• A comprehensive end-to-end understanding of complex systems—from business needs to daily operations.
• A proactive growth mindset, critical thinking abilities, and a solution-oriented attitude.
