Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate to ensure consistency with design guidelines across frontend development.
- Lead frontend development efforts and manage the design and implementation of web applications.
- Work closely with scrum teams to understand project requirements and provide technical mentorship.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for streamlined deployment processes.
- Mentor and support team members, fostering growth and skill development.
- Ensure adherence to best practices, including code quality, performance optimization, and accessibility standards.
- Lead version control and branching strategies with Git.
- Resolve complex technical issues in the frontend development process.
- Stay updated with industry trends and new technologies in frontend development.
Education and Experience
- BS degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 10 years of professional software development experience, with a minimum of 3 years in application or web service development.
- Over 5 years of experience in building web applications using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frameworks like ReactJS, Vue, and Angular.
- Proven leadership capabilities with experience in guiding geographically distributed engineering teams.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience developing marketing solutions on AEM (Java, Maven, AEM 6.5).
- Experience delivering scalable, robust software libraries for internal and external teams.
- Proficiency in SDK development and maintenance for Java, Node.js, and ReactJS libraries.
- Ability to lead and define a consolidated digital technology strategy.
- Experience supporting the development of a robust design system and facilitating its adoption.
- Proficiency in working within a matrixed organization, collaborating with UX, QA, and other functions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities.
- Experience in integrating accessibility components into frontend pages.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git and Subversion.
- Understanding of the full software development lifecycle.
- Experience working in an agile development team.
