Position Summary

As a Gas Measurement Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in reviewing and analyzing measurement data to guarantee its accuracy for billing and custody transfer purposes. You'll handle data issues and consult with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of any discrepancies. This position also supports upgrades to measurement software applications and assists in educating staff to enhance system reliability and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify the accuracy and completeness of gas measurement data.
  • Engage with engineering and field staff to resolve measurement discrepancies.
  • Support the maintenance of the FlowCal database and ensure its disaster recovery readiness.
  • Facilitate internal and external communication regarding measurement concerns.

Location & Flexibility

The role allows flexibility within PG&E’s service territories, predominantly between Dublin and Stockton. The position includes hybrid working arrangements, allowing you to manage time between remote work and on-site collaboration based on business needs.

Compensation

The salary for this role is competitive within industry standards and varies by location:

  • Bay Area: $80,000 - $120,000
  • California: $76,000 - $114,000

This position is eligible for PG&E’s discretionary incentive compensation programs.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 3 years of relevant experience in accounting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite

Desired Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience in the natural gas industry
  • Experience with FlowCal or similar software
  • Familiarity with gas transmission or distribution systems
