We are searching for a Geospatial Data Engineer who excels at the intersection of Data and Geospatial expertise. With a sharp eye for satellite imagery, a comprehensive knowledge of geospatial subtleties, and the ability to use Machine Learning for data processing, you are the rock star we're searching for.

Responsibilities
You will develop end-to-end solutions and prototypes for geospatial intelligence applications using Agile methodologies.
Investigate and implement new sources of data for more accurate disaster planning scenarios
Develop the current geospatial searching needs to cater to more robust data ingestion and geo-query analysis
Work together with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Intelligence, and Product
Improve MIS's existing systems and architecture for handling large and complex datasets
Create and maintain data documentation and procedures
Keep up-to-date with the latest geospatial technologies and industry trends
Requirements
MSc or PhD in Computer Science, Geography, Remote Sensing, or related field.
Proficiency in Python and experience using its related geospatial libraries (e.g., GeoPandas, shapely, rasterio, gdal).
Advanced skills in Geo Spatial Data tools such as GIS, PostGIS, ArcGIS, etc.
Proven ability to create and maintain data processing pipelines.
Commercial experience working in the cloud, ideally in Azure
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented attitude.

£50-65k, depending on experience
